Receive Christ

Receiving Christ as your Savior is as simple as the ABC’s…

A – which stands for ADMIT.  You must admit that you are a sinner who needs a Savior.  The Bible calls this confession and confession means you agree with God about your sin.

B – which stands for BELIEVE.  You must believe that Jesus is the one and only Son of God who died on the cross for your sins and was raised from the dead.

C – which stands for CHANGE.  The Bible calls this repentance, which means to turn.  You must turn from running your own life and allow the Lord to run your life from now on.

(Scriptures: John 1:12; 1 John 1:9; Psalm 32:5; John 3:16; Acts 16:31; Acts 3:19; Acts 17:30)

Also, you can follow the “Romans Road” to receive Christ: read these Scriptures from the book of Romans in this order: Romans 3:23; 6:23; 5:8; 10:9; 12:1-2.

Pray this prayer in sincerity:

“Dear Heavenly Father, I admit that I am a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness.  I believe in Jesus that He died for my sins and was raised from the dead.  I repent of my sins.  I turn from running my own life, and now I ask you to run it.  I invite Your Holy Spirit into my heart and life.  In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.”

If you prayed this prayer, you should be baptized next.  Come see us this Sunday morning and we can help you begin to make Jesus your Lord (Savior and Lord) – this is the journey of discipleship.
